Massa Vecchia
La Querciola 2017
Sangiovese and Alicante, in a blend from grapes from the Querciola vineyard. The vineyard has an extraordinary soil structure. Amplifying its characteristics gives this cru made from a Tuscan blend, in which Sangiovese is the major part. The other grape is Alicante which, like the Sangiovese, is planted at the brow of the hill, with the best aspect.
Perhaps the most important red by Massa Vecchia. It speaks the language of the territory: it smells of ripe fruit and fresh flowers, has a mineral tone and seductive complexity in the mouth. Suitable for important dishes.
Aged little less than 4 years on barrel; around 2000 bottles produced
