TARLANT Champagne
La Vigne D'Or 2006 2006
The inspiration for this cuvée is a single parcel called Pierre de Bellevue in Oeuilly. Planted by their grandfather Georges in 1947, it features Sparnacian clay-limestone, a soil type unique to the Marne. Pinot Meunier was direct pressed into Burgundy barrels for fermentation and a short élevage. The wines low pH and cool cellars prevent malolactic conversion.
