A legendary Sangiovese with character. The 2020 vintage opens on the nose with typical scents of jammy sour cherries and black cherries. This is followed by an olfactory complexity of a Sangiovese characterised by spicy notes of star anise and cinchona without covering a pleasant hint of vanilla tobacco.
Even on the palate, it confirms its structure on the palate. A persuasive tannicity accompanies the well-balanced relationship between savouriness and freshness. A persistent and fruity finish. Of a unique longevity, capable of being appreciated many decades after the harvest.
