Maccario Dringenberg
Dolceacqua Curli DOC 2024
The Curli vineyard is characterized by a limestone bedrock and is west-facing, with an average altitude of 350 meters above sea level in the Verbone Valley, within the municipality of Perinaldo. A historic vineyard of the appellation, it owes its reputation to Emilio Croesi and Luigi Veronelli.
The resulting wine is renowned for its longevity and for its uniqueness within the Dolceacqua landscape, due to a higher concentration of anthocyanins that give it a particularly deep color. Its tannic structure and extractive content are well above average, granting it remarkable aging potential. On the nose, it reveals an intense bouquet of small dark berries, led by blueberry, along with notes of myrtle and juniper, while floral hints range from violet to iris. On the palate, it is very fresh and saline.
