Fattoria Garbole
Hatteso Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva DOC 2013
“Appassimento” process of 90 days – Aged 7 years in barriques and 1 year in bottle.
It is a deep ruby red coloured wine with purplish shades verging on burgundy during the refinement phase. It has an intense and penetrating aroma characterized by scents of ripe fruits such as red berry fruit as well as by flowers such as violet. It has a composite scent of spices, aromatic herbs, jam and plum. Rich and juicy in taste with a scent of sour cherry and an aftertaste of ripe underbrush. It is best served with tasty red meat dishes such as roasts and red meats accompanied with sharp flavored sauces. It combines very well with game and/or seasoned cheese. It can also be drunk as meditative wine.
