Polvanera’s “simple” Primitivo shows a wonderfully light and sweet character. The slight residual sweetness gives it elegance and ease. Like all the red wines of Cassano , Marchesana Primitivo matures exclusively in stainless steel vats and in bottle. It makes a clear impression of the terroir of
karst clay soils that bring an incredible minerality with it. Each variety is very well crafted in its character traits. This prepares a special drinking pleasure and is the ideal companion to vegetable dishes, pizza and pasta as well as easy game dishes and half matured cheeses.
