Maccario Dringenberg
Dolceacqua Pini DOC 2023
The latest cru of Dolceacqua.
An absolute novelty in our catalogue for this first vintage produced by Giovanna Maccario and Goetz Dringenberg.
The grapes are selected and harvested by hand from Provençal saplings in a vineyard rooted in predominantly calcareous soil located at an altitude of 300 metres above sea level.
The grapes are subjected to slow maceration during the vinification process; maturation takes place in glass for at least twelve months prior to release.
Austere and spicy side to which it can tend, declined in elegance, and the choice of the black colour of the label is already a strong hint.
It has a rarefied, transparent colour with luminous garnet flashes and a nose that immediately impresses with an intense, rural, spicy profile of cherries in spirit, autumn undergrowth, hints of tanned leather and something toasted.
A taut palate in which the acidity, well present, and a hint of tannicity try to hold their own against the soft and consoling alcoholic quota.
