Nude Aglianico IGP 2012

An Outstanding Aglianico Red Wine. Spontaneous fermentation, no sulfites added. It ages one year in new barriques and another 12 months in second passage tonneaux barrels. Unfiltered.
Ruby red color to garnet. On the nose the hints of cherry and plum, followed by tobacco and earthy and toasted notes. On the palate it is energetic and fresh, with firm but never unpleasant tannins. Long and persistent.
