Barolo Castellero DOCG 2019

Barolo Cru of not even one hectare where the vines, about 30 years old, are cradled by soils rich in clay, silt and sand.
Bright garnet red in colour with good transparency, the nose shows a classic olfactory impact that recalls red fruit under spirits and sweet spices, tamarind and chinotto, then dried red flowers and liquorice sticks, with wilder hints of leather. The taste is magnificently defined, elegant and balanced, with a velvety tannic finesse like few others and a very long finish in which the sweet spices return in abundance.
